Dr. Harold Munnings MBBS FRCP FACG, our medical director, was born at the Princess Margaret Hospital and he now works there as a consultant gastroenterologist. He was educated at McGill University in Montreal, at the University of the West Indies and at Bristol Royal Infirmary in England. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians of London and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is also a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Association of West Indian Gastroenterologists and the Florida Gastroenterologic Society. His books on local medical history have received wide acclaim and he has been cited for leadership in communication.
Dr. Flloyd Carter MBBS DM MRCP, our associate, is a native of Barbados. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of the West Indies and in 2007, he joined our team. He also leads a busy general medical service at the Princess Margaret Hospital and serves on the consultant staff at Doctors Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology and the Association of West Indian Gastroenterologists.
Gilda Cooper RN, our head nurse, trained at the Princess Margaret Hospital. In 2001, she joined our team and she is now a member of the Society of Gastrointestinal Nurses and Assistants, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified and a pioneer in the administration of propofol for endoscopy sedation.
Carla Colebrooke, our first assistant, trained and worked in the United States and at Doctors Hospital before joining our team. She assists our physicians and nurse with all aspects of patient care.
Carla Bain, is a qualified emergency medical technician who has maintained a parallel career in endoscopy nursing that spans some 15 years.

We see patients by appointment on
Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm
but we make a special effort
to accommodate patients who travel
from out of town or patients
who need urgent attention.
